Floataway Cottage is a pristine, incredibly elegant, four-level ocean view home with private plunge pool. The cottage is a three-minute walk to Olive Way Beach access on East Beach and is one of only a handful all wood boardwalks to the beach. Each Beach is the only beach on St. Simons that can be used during high and low tide.
The cottage features six bedrooms, six and a half baths, and sleeps 12.
A gated courtyard with grilling area and private plunge pool welcomes you to our home. Inside, a large foyer greets you and has elevator service to all four levels. The second floor has four bedrooms and a casual living area with a workspace and desk that seats two. The third floor features a spacious great room, well-equipped kitchen, and a dining room that can accommodate 12. A large balcony is off the dining room. The first of three master suites is on this floor.
The fourth floor completes the home with two additional master suites, one which looks over the ocean and has a private balcony. A morning bar and keeping room separate the two suites. The surprise of the home is a large roof deck which has stunning views of the Atlantic and features seating and dining for the entire family.
The lower level has a game room with a ping pong table and access to a garage.
The cottage has a total of six bedrooms and six and half baths. The 2nd Floor has four bedrooms, three with queen beds, and one with two twin beds. All have private bathrooms. There is a half bath on this 3rd floor. The 4th Floor has two master suites, each with king beds and private baths. All of the master baths have separate showers and tubs.
The entire house has wi-fi, each living area has a television and six of seven bedrooms have televisions. There is a whole house audio system.
There is a laundry rooms on the second floor. The plunge pool can be heated for an additional fee. Bikes, beach chairs, and beach towels are provided for your use.
