Located 10 minutes from the airport, you cannot beat the sandy beaches or nature walking trails and paths throughout the Colonia Brick Bay community. This secluded neighbourhood offers some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the more commercialized parts of the island and offers a snapshot of Roatan before it became a tourist destination.
We can ensure that a rental car will be ready for you at the resort if requested, but if driving around isn't for you, we can also arrange for a driver to take you to your destinations for a small fee.
We believe honesty is the best policy and as a newly opening boutique resort, there are a few labours of love that are still being worked on, namely our beach and swimming area. Many beaches around Roatan have been taken over by seaweed, offering a place for ecosystems to develop. Our resort has made it our mission to begin clearing out a swimming section and building a retaining wall using techniques that are as close to the natural process as possible to give the ecosystem a chance to adapt. Over the next 6 months, our staff and guests (if so desired) will be part of the process to make a difference through cleaning, raking, and building, while learning about the rebuild and creating friendships over beers and ceviche. Everyone that helps in the process will also have their names etched into reclaimed glass that will be built into the retaining wall, forever having a piece of paradise!
