Positive: We had an amazing stay at A to Z in Paleochora. Georgia was an amazing host, so attentive, kind, responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The location is brilliant, we especially loved watching the sunrise and sunset over the sea every day from the deck chairs, and that it is nice and quiet, but so close to amenities. We enjoyed the short walk into town, but if you prefer it is a quick minute drive with plenty of free parking available in town. There are lots of gorgeous beaches on your doorstep, many within walking or cycling distance, and lots more a tiny bit further afield. The accomodation itself is lovely, it is minimalist and incredibly clean, and had everything we needed for our week long stay. The bed is really comfortable and a lovely bathroom, there is lots of natural light, and air conditioning and windows kept it really cool in the hot weather. We cooked quite a few dinners at the house, and had everything we needed to do this, it was so helpful having the basics of olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, as well as bits for breakfast. We really appreciated the coffee pods being topped up whenever Georgia came in to clean. It was great being able to walk a minute from the house straight into the sea, and if you prefer a slightly less rocky entry there is a sandy beach just a few minutes walk down the road. We would really recommend this as a place to stay if you are looking to explore the southern coast of Crete, and visited Ellafonisi, and Sougia with ease with our hire car, alongside lots more beaches in the area. There are also lots of amazing places to eat in Paleochora so you will be spoilt for choice!

Negative: A little extra storage for clothes and shoes would have been helpful given the length of our stay, and perhaps a lamp in the lounge area to soften the lighting once the sun has gone down. Very minor details though and we had absolutely no complaints!
