Travel Purpose: business

Positive: We booked this apartment because of it´s location. The Almiros beach is only 600m from the accommodation and it is really wonderful. Little to no people, and if you get any refreshments from Petra Beach Bar, you can use the deck chairs with parasol all day. The apartment has the classical lock where you get your keys, so no need to meet up with anybody and you can arrive anytime after check-in. Airconditioning/TV/balcony all OK.

Negative: One issue was, that we booked and paid this stay via booking.com. The owner uses another provider, Holidu.com and throughout our stay we communicated only with an employee of the owner (she was very kind and at least tried to solve our problem) We had a dispute with the owner over a new tax, that Holidu wanted us to pay for, even though we were all covered by booking. We had to solve this with many messages during our visit, which wasn´t pleasant at all and even after our stay we spent many hours with customer service. The bathroom and kitchen are very old, but that was advertised on the pictures. When opening the kitchen drawers we did smell mold and overall the kitchen was very small - do not plan any big cooking here. The bathroom was very old as well and we had to turn on and off a switch for hot water (approx. 30 min before showering or you get only cold).
