VILLA MILA – the slightly different holiday home on the hillside – fantastic view!
Villa Mila, built from natural stones, is nestled on a natural slope above the town of Prines.
The property covers approximately 13,000 square meters and is completely fenced. Our guests have a living space of approx. 280 square meters available. The outdoor areas were generously designed and adapted to the surroundings.
On the living level there is a hallway and guest toilet, as well as a storage room with washing machine (ironing board and iron as well).
The elegantly designed living room with comfortable seating, flat-screen TV, Blu-Ray player and stereo system invites you to get together in a cozy atmosphere.
On cooler days, a circulating air fireplace provides pleasant additional warmth.
In the open kitchen you will find a spacious dining area with comfortably upholstered chairs and a handcrafted solid wood table.
The modern kitchen, equipped with branded appliances: dishwasher, integrated microwave, coffee machine, Dolce Gusto device, toaster, kettle, etc leaves nothing to be desired. The special highlight is the side-by-side refrigerator with water outlet and integrated icemaker.
Enjoy breakfast outside and take a seat at the large table on the covered terrace.
Due to the location on the slope, all 3 bedrooms are on different levels and therefore offer the highest possible level of privacy. Each of the bedrooms has a magnificent view of the sea, the White Mountains and the Akrotiri Peninsula through spacious panoramic windows. The furnishings with high-quality mattresses and hand-forged, typical beds guarantee a high level of sleeping comfort. Two of the beds measure 180 cm x 200 cm; for people who need a little more space, there is a bed measuring 200 cm x 210 cm available in one of the bedrooms.
The adjoining en suite bathrooms are spacious and bright, equipped with, among other things, an illuminated cosmetic mirror and a hairdryer.
The bedrooms differ slightly in size and furnishings (all also have a safe).
One of the bedrooms has its own terrace, the other two each have their own balcony.
All of the rooms are equipped with AC/TV/Blu-Ray.
Enjoy swimming in the approximately 50 square meter infinity pool with an indescribable view.
There are plenty of comfortable loungers available for sunbathing and relaxing. Parasols and the pool deck provide enough shade. In this area you will also find an outdoor shower (hot and cold water) and an additional toilet.
The pool is illuminated at night and creates a pleasant ambience with the subtle outdoor lighting.
Take a seat on the comfortable lounge furniture on the large, permanently covered outdoor terrace and enjoy the panoramic views and spectacular sunsets over the Aegean Sea with a glass of wine.
For cooler seasons there is underfloor and pool heating.
WiFi with unlimited data volume is available in the villa.
A large carport provides shade for your vehicle.
Conscious care was taken to preserve the original Cretan landscape with rocks, stones and bushes.
In the nearby villages of Atsipopoulo and Prines you can find shops, taverns and all things for everyday life. The enchanting port town of Rethymnon with its many sights and lively streets is approx. 5 km away.
The nearest beach is approx. 5 km away. The long and beautiful sandy beach at Episkopi can be reached in about 20 minutes.

The pool is not in operation from December to the end of March.
The length of stay from December 1st. until 31.03. is at least 21 nights. There are no interim cleanings included during this time.

An eco-tax has been introduced for all guests since January 1, 2024. This is staggered by category and season.
The fee from March 1st to October 31st is €15/night per villa. For the months of November to February 28th the fee is 4.00 euros/night.
The amount must be transferred 4 weeks before arrival directly to the landlord's account, who will pay it to the Greek tax office.
