Positive: The property is bright, clean, and very well maintained, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The view is beautiful, and both the outdoor pool area and the restaurant are thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the balconies and the level of privacy they offer. The bathroom was excellent, with a large walk-in shower, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Japanese-style toilets. Breakfast was also very good, even though I am not usually a breakfast person. The staff were happy to accommodate requests — I was offered a protein omelette as asked, with small single-use bottles of olive oil to season it myself, which was a nice touch. The food quality throughout was high: while the menu isn’t overly large, it is flexible, and the staff were happy to adjust dishes on request. I asked for a different salad one day and it was changed without any issue. I was also invited to a complimentary set-menu dinner one evening, and they accommodated all dietary preferences and changes, which really stood out. The real highlight, however, was the staff. Even though it was winter and clearly not high season, the service was exceptional — attentive, professional, and very international in spirit. The stay genuinely felt like being at home. I originally planned to stay for two nights but ended up extending my stay to five.

Negative: The main downside for me was the outdoor pool. I had initially expected the property to be closer to the beach, but it is slightly detached. While the pool is technically heated, during colder months (I stayed in January) it does not retain enough warmth to be usable, so I wasn’t able to swim — which was actually one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. I would also have appreciated having a tea kettle in the room. There is a coffee machine, which can be used for hot water, but a kettle would be a nice addition. Additionally, the property does not have a garage; while this wasn’t an issue for me during this stay, I imagine parking could become challenging in peak summer months, although this seems to be common in the area. That said, although the situation with the pool couldn’t be changed, the staff handled it exceptionally well — offering an extended check-out, dinner, and other thoughtful gestures to ensure the stay remained pleasant, which I truly appreciated.
