Perched on the highest point of a 5 acre elevated parcel in the Byron Bay hinterlands with a private pine-tree lined entrance framing a long drive-way that leads up to the house, this private oasis, has a spacious open-plan living house with amazing hinterland & sunset views, a pool, sauna, outdoor kitchen, dining & lounge, fire pit, trampoline & a huge entertaining deck perfect for friends & families. You will often see wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas & many different birds on the property too.
This house is a peaceful, spacious abode with high ceilings and an expansive living, dining and kitchen area with a combustion wood burning fireplace. One is immediately captured by the hinterland views through a combination of large glass doors & bi-folds which lead to an enormous covered outdoor entertaining area. The hinterland views from both the house & the fenced pool are stunning, particularly at sunset.
The main house sleeps 10 guests comfortably with 5 queen beds & all bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans & two with Aircon, as well as TVs in each room plus a TV in the main living area & another in the family room. Every bedroom has either hinterland views &/or garden views! There are 3 bathrooms including a master suite with an ensuite that leads out to a private sun deck.
The positioning of the home maximises light and breezes with plenty of room for all & a huge entertaining area outside. Plus A/C in the main living area.
On the same property, is Sunset Cottage which can be holiday let at the same time. It is a fully self-contained 1 bedroom cottage that can sleep up to 4 guests (it has a Queen master bed & a Queen-sized sofa bed), with a 2-person, 14 jets Spa Bath with amazing hinterland & sunset views, as it has two walls of floor to ceiling glass to maximise the beautiful views from the bath & deck.
Also on the same property, is Betty Boop which is an original vintage caravan with a fully self-contained cottage attached, that can sleep up to 4 guests (as there are two beds in the van and a foldout sofa bed in the living area). It has an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom with unique qualities, such as a partially glass ceiling & french opening doors. *With an outdoor bath being installed on the deck in Sept 2024.
This property has many beaches in the near vicinity & only a 10 minute drive to local towns such as Bangalow, Brunswick Heads & Mullumbimby and only 25 mins from/to Ballina airport & 35 mins from/to the Gold Coast airport.
